Mutiny, The best mix of Symphony X virtuosity and Children of Bodom aggression I have ever heard. These guys are all SICK on their instruments, and they practice 3-4 hours a day minimum, so they totally back up their music live (see the videos on their myspace page and on You Tube). The craziest part is that none of them are over 19 years old. Give it a listen, you WILL ROCK.

That's good to hear that you liked it, they are actively looking for a vocalist right now (their Myspace name is "Mutiny...vocalist wanted"), so if anybody feels up to the challenge, feel free to contact them. It is hard to find good screaming vocalists (good, as in not "hardcore" they are looking for someone that sounds like Alexi Laiho, or the In Flames guy, cleaner higher pitched screaming).

Actually, Anders Fridén did have a really cool voice, although it's turned too metal-cory now for me to care.

I can't stand Children Of Bodom, though.

At least black metal vocals have a tone to them, hardcore and death metal vocals are just ugly. If anything, I love Russel Allen's vocals the best, but it is hard for an up and coming metal band to be taken seriously in America with nothing but singing vocals. The last thing Mutiny wants is to sound gay like the Dragonforce singer.

Yeah man, Samus is is sick sick bastard, one of the best drummers out there. These guys practice so much, they will only get better (I mean you can't go wrong with 2 sweeping guitarists!)
