I saw COB live in 2006, it was partly... disgusting. 'Partly' being the fact of having 2 sweaty, überpsyched emogirls screaming every damn note played, solos included (needled 24/7 wrathfully coming to mind) from an inch behind me whilst being surrounded by black haircuts and piercings. The atmosphere was just not..metal - at all. I've left Bodom to rest ever since

I've seen them live before, they weren't that great, mostly due to the crappy mix. But the atmosphere was pretty metal, as a large proportion of the crowd seemed to be there for Cannibal Corpse (who, for the record, blew Bodom away). Regardless, Bodom are still a great band IMHO.

No. They're really boring. I see nothing great about them, especially their newer albums. Hatebreeder had one DECENT song which was Towards Dead End. Aside from that they're a really overrated band.

Eh, I need to hear more songs before I can form my own opinion. But from what I've heard of Alexi's solos..... they just sound like really fast scales.... like Malmsteen solos...... (Who I hate, but thats neither here nor there.)
