BTW, if you don't know Klaatu, check them out. People used to think they were the beatles under a pseudonym. They have a big of a prog rock edge to them though. Quite good.

New Myrath is pretty good. They no longer sound like a Symphony X clone (to my dismay), but it's a really good Nocturnal Rites sounding affair.

To me Myrath turned out to be one of the big surprises of the year. I love their new album. It's a perfect blend of Western metal and Eastern romance.

Besides all the bashing one can do towards Kiske famous I'm not into metal anymore statement, then fact is the band has a neat line-up (hope Ward is also producing), and also if the vocals are not what it used to be, the music is quite catchy.

Checked out this guy, who is an awesome guitar player. He takes a lot of pop-songs and makes them listenanable Ok, he has a more "happy" metal uptempo style, but if you watch his vids you gotta agree he really is very good !!
