Yeah, that's usually when it happens! Ouch at the five hours thing, but you're still lucky in my opinion .

Bodom concert last night!!!! Fukin awesome. Had to help a friend stop her gf from starting a brawl which was embarrassing. Now have one hell of a sore neck. Surprisingly not sleepy... Also started eating again after my friends threatened to force feed me if i didnt.

Yeah... Generally eating is quite a useful thing to do.. In fact, in most cases, not eating is a pretty bad idea.

doing pretty good. I really like the direction my summer class is heading. i thought it'd be a bit repetitive of all the philosophical greek history stuff I've already learned, but it looks like we're going into the metaphysics of plato and aristotle. Hence, I am excited

Nope, haven't read any. It is something I plan to do (not to read ALL of his work, of course), that is why I need a philosophy course to motivate me Could you link me to some of the texts you are reading?

Of course. Here's a site with some of his stuff...my class only began yesterday so we were only assigned to read Meno and Euthyphro.

Meno is about virtue-- Socrates looks for the true meaning of the word and what it is that makes virtue virtue.

Euthyphro (which is actually pretty funny, cuz the guy Euthyphro thinks he knows everything and is so cocky, he makes you laugh) is about finding what it is to be pious.

I've also read The Rupublic and that's one of plato's best works imo. He gives his idea of how society should be set up.

Anyway, here's a site that might be helpful to you http://www.classicallibrary.org/plato/dialogues/ Let me know if you actually read any of it so maybe we could discuss some of it.

I had a super duper great day because I was taught to play three chords on zee guitar! haha, I have never attempted playing before, so this is pretty huge for me. My fingers are very sore now, but all is well. =]
