Can I ask why you don't give a damn? You'd be the first ones whinging if your voting rights were removed, and the results will directly impact everyone .... its the ultimate in ironies ...

@ Evil: Why? I'm in Aus, and it may be different over here, but I doubt it (from my limited understanding of American politics) - party affiliation is based generally on economic inclination. That is, party's will have ideals of being somewhere on the spectrum between left and right wing ... affiliation is just individual preference to that. There are certain people in the middle who swing, but that's no more correct than being left or right wing'd.

There are liberal Republicans and conservative Democrats. This single fact alone negates the legitimacy of party-line voting. Many times, region is far more significant than party membership.

Lord Sathanas.

ok.

btw, he can be reelect

I have to see who wins the fucking nomination first. This is the problem with threads like this. it's a year away until the election and 6 months until any real debating happens, so who gives a shit at this point?

This is my main beef with the Megadeth forums. They have more topics like this than any other forum in existence. It's pretty annoying.

All I know is this: Ron Paul won't win anything.

It's because the campaigns start earlier and earlier. Fuck, the first candidate announced his campaign the day after congressional elections last year (although he dropped out a while ago already). Also "6 months until any real debating happens" is highly inaccurate, and it's just as important to pay attention during nominations as it is during elections.

I know it was highly inaccurate, I just never catch the debates when they are one. I'm always busy doing something else.

Except I'm not socialist at all. I just know that Ron Paul has no chance of winning (even though I agree with most of his views)

it was kind of a joke, dude.

and I agree with most of what he says as well. but yea, realistically speaking, he doesn't have much of a chance, if any.
