Breaking Bad kicks such an insane amount of ass. I proselytise about that show almost as much as I do about The Wire.

Great thing about The Shield is that it peaks during the final season. The finale of Season 4 is really the beginning of the show.

I had been hearing amazing things about it for years. When it was on, a number of folks told me it was better than The Sopranos (back when The Sopranos was at its height). It's one of those shows that just keeps getting better, the deeper you get into it.

The show is written, is part, by Kurt Sutter, sons of Anarchy creator. The one common theme between both shows, is everyone has their own set of values of right and wrong. No one as painted as being completely good or completely bad. Everyone has their own line.

I wholeheartedly recommend The Shield. Vic Mackey is badass.

I just started watching The Walking Dead season 1. Haven't finished up the pilot yet but it looks great so far.
