The T.V. thread...

This one seems authentic enough. Even the actors they chose all have a pretty Euro vibe.

Anyone here seen Black Mirror? Only 3 episodes got made, but easily among the best television I have ever seen.

You guy's can't tell by his accent?

Game of Thrones slays btw. Second season just started.

Saw it yesterday, fells like it'll take an episode or two to get back into. Plus I've read the books now (Which I hadn't for season one) which sucks because now I'm all LOL THATS NOT RIGHT or LOL I KNOW WATS GONNA HAPENS

I didn't find much wrong in the first season when I was watching Game of Thrones. So what do you mean "LOL THAT'S NOT RIGHT"?

Well, one very obvious thing so far is the general appearance of Ser Jorah Mormont aka the Bear, eh?
In general I don't think I have seen any videofied book as true to the original so no hard feelings.

Knowing everything that's gonna happen? Aside from some minor details? Yeah, ruins the suspense. But the worst part is encountering people who love the show and have no idea the comic book exists. It forces me to prove how cool I am because I've read it for years. Call it a first world problem. No one can enjoy anything until they realize I enjoyed it first.

SPOILER: Washington DC is fucked, and no one will help them.

Like now.

There are pretty large differences. There is no CDC and the whole "We are the walking dead!" is delivered differently, sophia dies way earlier (if she ever dies I'm only at issue #80), Shane dies way later, Dale dies way early, there is no Tyrese. Not minor details.
