The Thread Where You Talk About Music You Like

Probably, as I've heard it sounds most like Xasthur, though I haven't heard it due to limiting circumstances and the fact that it more than likely sucks.

Just got the new Boris and Merzbow collaboration, 'Sun Baked Snow Cave', and love it! Really fuct up, but amazing!

Also wached the new Cradle Of Filth DVD, and tis indeed pretty cool, very bizarre and wierd for a live show.
Check out the ecard at [link]http://www.roadrunnerrecords.co.uk/cradleoffilth/[/link] and a rather nifty banner at [link]http://www.roadrunnerrecords.co.uk/734m666/cradle/banner.gif[/link].
Not always been the biggest fan of their's (they did get me into metal, so I give them credit for that), but the DVD is pretyt cool, more a show than a gig.

Anyone have any opinions on the new Vinterriket album - not as good as the previous one in my opinion, but it still owns most of the shit out there. More BM influences in this one compared to Winterschatten...

All of their Black Metal material is good, as far as I'm aware. I have The Oath Of Black Blood, Drawing Down The Moon, and Messe Des Morts (sp?) and it's all good.

Yeah you need Oath Of Black Blood, it's fucking great, albeit WAY the fuck different from DDTM (really goddamn noisy, raw, and claustrophobic). The ritual stuff has a few beats at times; it's sort of tribal sometimes, but generally stays in a dark-ish ambient direction. It's no Lustmord or Gruntsplatter, but it will do.
