I like Gojira; then again I like both modern death metal AND old-school death in equal amounts, so yeah.

I like death metal that sounds like they actually put some thought into their songwriting.

And Gojira is healthily introspective, grandiose death metal; it sounds like The Devin Townsend Band + Meshuggah doing death metal with atypical lyrics and influences...good shit to me, From Mars To Sirius at least!
