The Thread Where You Talk About Music You Like

Nest is my personal favorite "neo-folk" artist I guess, even though Nest is really more folk ambient than neo-folk. Strictly speaking, Fleur is my favorite neo-folk project/band/artist whatever.

apocalyptic folk, military pop, neo-folk, martial industrial, darkwave

Some bands are pretty hard to pigeonhole.

So far I really enjoy: Puissance, Sophia, Gae Bolg and the Church of Fand, Sol Invictus, Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio, L'Orchestre Noir, The Protagonist. Sephiroth, Empyrium too

I also like Forseti, Tenhi, Fire + Ice, and # Of The Wand & The Moon ... I need to listen to more D:

Hrsta is Mike from Godspeed YBH.
Jeff Mangum is the NMH guy, that's his solo thing he did years after they split.
Rufus Wainwright is kinda like Jeff Buckley but gayer, cos he's, ya know, gay.
Bonnie Prince Billy is GOD.
