Arghoslent is overrated

The reissue of Nazxul's Black Seed EP is really nice. The first four songs are just really great, and so are the two live songs and even the demo songs are quite nice.

I think it's great too. I've listened to it a couple times now.

They're up there with Primordial and Arghoslent as one of the bands this forum relentlessly fellates.

Primordial deserves it though.

No way that Disembowelment is that hyped. Those other bands generate some buzz regularly because they're active.

Disembowelment is interesting at times. I think I'd like them more if they increased the trippy elements.

I heard that The Black Dahlia Murder stopped using death vocals. Is this true, and at what point was it?

Also, Miasma is awesome.

yeah, I have Unhallowed and Miasma now. I think Miasma might be a little better musically, the lyrics on Unhallowed are more fitting. But I love the humor of a death metal song about boning a schoolgirl.

It is not the most high class or smart death metal band around but it does its job. I don't have Miasma though.

Miasma is more playful, lyrically. Sonically, it's less AtG worship, but still great, thrashing, melodic stuff.

i don't see how you can call the vocals shitty, even if you don't like the music. they're pretty standard growls and screams, so you'd have to not like growls and screams to be annoyed by them.
