I find it difficult to sit through an entire Behemoth album. I really like the music, excellent songwriting, but I just can't concentrate. Odd seeing as I listen to a LOT of black metal and tech death/brutal death.

Lately I've been rediscovering how awesome King Diamond is. I rebought "The Eye" a few days ago and it's lodged in my brain. Was listening to "Them" earlier. Love it.

Also I've been on a major thrash kick amongst my usual blackness. Been listening to Exhorder, Annihlator, Destruction, Sodom, Demolition Hammer, Slayer, Deicide and Malevolent Creations's first albums, Celtic Frost....I love the genre.

Was Just listening to Thelema 6 the other day. CHRISTIANS TO THE LIONS!!!

I actually like Nergal's vocals. They sound angry. I also enjoyed the layering on Demigod.

So do I, in the context of that music. It fits perfectly, even the layered ones. Outside of that context they don't work though.
