I like satyricon. I did not like them at first.

I still don't understand why people dislike them so. Their newer stuff may have abandoned the ambient sound, but that doesn't detract from the fact that their first three albums were black metal masterpieces.

I like the rock out vibe on Volcano and Now Diabolical. It's still very much black metal and you can hear celtic frost influence. I would say these two albums still have atmosphere and ambience.

i know im out of date on this but crimson massacre - the luster of pandemonium is pretty good i guess...

The only song I liked on that was the acoustic one. All the rest were boring and easily forgettable. And the production really sucks, too.
