i was initially thinking about leaving the old school bands out and making it a "modern" technical death metal list. But i changed my mind and edited Death and Suffocation in there. Atheist is definitely top tier TDM for me. I think i'll just make two different lists. One for modern TDM bands and one for the more old school ones. But im having trouble figuring out where to put Gorguts. Maybe both, lol.

I would include Hexen but they broke up. Exmortus is debatably thrash, but they would be #2 if considered thrash. Fueled by Fire doesn't tour enough. Violator never comes to the US.

Actually Vektor broke up. Hmm. Throw Exmortus in place of Vektor I guess

Fucking Matt Harvey needs to get to work on another Dekapitator album. I would have definitely put them up there but they havent released an album since '07 and their debut album came out in '99, so im not sure they belong.

Violator, Hatchet(first album is kind of ho-hum thrash) and Fueled By Fire(first album sucks balls) woul all make my top 10.

its been off for a long time now. Replaced it with that No Country For Old Men one.

My sig was starting to get way too clustered, not that it isn't right now ... but i'll eventually remove these golden quotes too.
