Speaking of which...I picked out an engagement ring today after a lengthy diamontology lesson at Jared. I'll get it on Friday, at which time I can break the news to my family with an even more overdramatic version the "He went to Jared!" routine. In fact, I think I see several family skits in the near future!

3/4 ct emerald cut diamond btw...verrrry nice. I'm really not a jewelry person at all, but I'm excited

Thanks! And heck no, I'm bleeding Niagara Falls as we speak! Why not pick out my own? It ensures I get something I really like, plus it was really fun. They were really nice and helpful at Jared. We looked at sooo many loose diamonds. They made us look at them under a magnifying glass, under a microscope, then made us go outside and check them out under the sunlight too.
