The Video Game Thread

But yeah, in all honesty, you're not missing out a GREAT deal... it was pretty much Tekken 3 with better graphics, shittier music, more characters and a tag option. And motherfucking Tekken Bowl Mode, which in my professional opinion is actually worth buying the game for. Seriously.

When I buy a PS2, since my is no longer among us ( :( ), that'll be one of the first games I buy, then.

I HAD a PS3 that was backwards compatible... then it died. :(

My PS4 will be here in about ten days, so I think buying a PS2 will have to wait a while. Maybe Christmas...

Enjoy having no games to play on your new system :D

Oh shush. I have a pretty good amount of games to play, even if most of them are indies. A lot of them are really good though. MGSV:GZ is fun to play a lot, I pick up Watch Dogs from time to time, on a second playthrough of ACIV, and a second of Infamous: Second Son

But at the same time i'm really just dying for Minecraft to come out for it

Ground Zeroes can eat my fucking shit. Prime example of Konami pulling a Capcom.

Never understand your hostility towards MGSV in general, but opinions are opinions

I've been fuckin' around with my capture card all day trying to get my PS3 to stream from it and i've run into a billion different problems and blah blah. Still working to get it right

Destiny
Infamous : Second Son
MGS : Ground Zeroes
Watch Dogs (maybe)
DC Universe Online (again)
Final Fantasy XIV (maaaaybe)
Outlast
Thief

I'll have plenty of games, thanks, Dave. :p

Also, Ground Zeroes is nothing like the shit Capcom puts out.

I gotta disagree, as much as I loved the ending to MGS2 it never really felt like the end of the story so MGS4 was very welcomed by me.

And as for MGSV, how Big Boss becomes evil was never explored so, again, the game is very welcomed by me. Plus, MGSV:GZ is one of the highest quality games i've ever played. It's fucking incredible how good it is, even if it is one level.

If he does anything huge after V then i'll share the same opinion with you. After this, there's no part of the story to explore anymore that hasn't been done before.

Basically agreeing with both of you on this. We've got... what? Six or seven MGS games now? (1-5, Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes if that really even counts) Things are confusing enough as it is. Hopefully MGSV is the last one.

Sack of shit, MGSV. I can safely say that before I've even played it, simply because Snake Eater was as complex as MGS ever needed to get. I played MGS4 for ten minutes (not counting the seven weeks of cutscenes, naturally) and thought it was gant because Kojima decided to try and mix too much shit in there.

Fuck off, Hideo Kojima. Nobody likes you.

Your opinion makes me sad, but I respect you. If this was a few years ago i'd fight you to the death.

Anyways, how has no one brought up Silent Hills? I'm stuck at the last section of the playable teaser and wow it's probably the scariest gaming experience of my life. I can't wait for that game.

Also Destiny soon, neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed. And then after that Shadow of Mordor, then the assassin's creeds... damnit I need more money

I watched gameplay for Silent Hills/P.T. or whatever it is. Looks like something far too scary for me. Haha.

I'm getting my Destiny bundle on Tuesday, so I'll have that game and maybe inFamous. Probably mot buying another new release for it until LittleBigPlanet 3 in November. Maybe Far Cry 4, but I'm still undecided on that one.
