The Video Game Thread

Try playing Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 on LSD. Trust me, it's fucking scary stuff - fun as hell, but when the final boss is a massive blob and your friend runs out of the house screaming at the sight of it, you get the feeling that you should probably do something else

Lmao! I can imagine!

I don't think it would be wise to try Dead Space on LSD. Expecially DS2, because of all the random lapses in Isaacs perception (not to mention the hundreds of necromorphs popping out at random times :p).

Because it was like $15, I grabbed the first Assassains Creed game. Haven't played it yet though, any good? (I know, I'm way behind on video games)

Love Assassin's Creed. The first one is a bit on the repetitive side though. If you find yourself not liking it, give the second one a chance. The second one has TONS more stuff to do, and one of the best soundtracks ever.

Get really sandblasted and play haha that makes every game funner! (just remember not to save haha)

Haha, or I could try that ;)

I guess if I don't like this one I can trade it in and get some money to put towards number 2. From what I've heard, I'm expecting it to be at least half decent

Man, I have to admit that I truly love the Dead Space franchise!

Who do you all think the best actor to play Isaac in a Hollywood directed movie would be??

My vote goes to Jason Statham.

Thoughts on this upcoming game?

I LOVED the first one, the second one disappointed me greatly, and I think the third one is gonna suck.

Co-op? Yeah, because that made Resident Evil 5 MUCH scarier. :bah:

Been playing Uncharted 3, boy did they rip off everything they could from Indiana Jones or what? Still, I love these type of exploration adventure games and I'm enjoying it. Can't wait for the next generation systems and the next level of graphice, gameplay, and sound.

Damn I can't wait for RESIDENT EVIL 6!

I hated Uncharted 3. The story was a mess. RE6 looks shitty too. I really want BioShock Infinite, but it got pushed back until February. :(

Just a warning to anyone who's looking to buy the Harley Quinn's Revenge add-on for Batman : Arkham City, DON'T. I beat it in an hour and a half, and the story can be summed up as cops get kidnapped, beat up Harley, save cops. It also takes a huge easter egg from the main game and turns it into nothing. Total waste of $10.

I've been replaying Assassin's Creed and Red Dead Redemption. Bought and beat the new Amazing Spider-Man game too which was actually pretty fun.

I've gotten up to like 85% completion in about 14 hours. For a free roam game, it's not all that long, but it was kinda fun, and I just like web swinging.

14 hours is long enough for me! Plus I usually take a lot longer on free roam games. I played a Spiderman game years ago and all I could remember was having fun web swinging to try and reach the highest points in the game

You ever play Arkham City? Think of it as a super dumbed down version of that game. Still, I thought it was fun. I'd give it a 7/10.
