I'd recommend playing 3 before 2. 2 is good, but completely lacking in comparison to the others - the action is horrendously slow in places.

Still haven't played XIII yet as I don't have a current generation console. But it's pretty much m sole reason for wanting one, I flat out worship SNK's work

3 is easily the next best after 1, but it lacks the charm and atmosphere. Dante is too much of a cocky prick to be truely likable - and I alwayssaid that a proper remake of DMC1 would be one of the best things ever. That said, they're both great, but 1 will always be the best. 3 has far too many infuriating sections.

I've beaten it and replayed most levels. I think it's really awesome. Ask yourself these two questions though :
Did I play BioShock? Did I like it?
Did I play Deus Ex : Human Revolution? Did I like it?
Dishonored is like both of those put together.

I just replayed the first Metal Gear Solid for the first time in, oh... ten years maybe? Bloody love it.

It seems to be. The alleged creator's first name is an anagram of Kojima, and the gaps in the title card fit 'Metal Gear Solid V', not to mention the Big Boss looklike etc.
PLUS MGS5 has actually been officially announced, so we'll see. Lots of spectulation.

Bumping for various reasons. In reference to the last posts... yes, it's official that The Phantom Pain is Metal Gear Solid V, and Ground Zeroes is pretty much the prologue to it. HOWEVER, despite the trailer being nothing short of stunning, I've just found out that David Hayter has NOT been asked to reprise his role as Snake/Big Boss. And I'm fucking livid about it.
The other reason I was bumping was because I'm going to post my Final Fantasy VII playthrough here. So far I'm up to Aerith's house, just after escaping from Reno in the slum church. Admittedly though, I've been a little bitch and used an AP gain and gil code to make the grinding less tedious for the time being - so I have about four mastered Fire, Ice, Lightning and Restore materia and god knows how many mastered All materia. Fuck off, you expect me to grind it from scratch again?

Yeah, they're both sperate games but Ground Zeroes is still the prologue to The Phantom Pain, that's my point. And the Hayter thing isn't a clever ruse sadly, he's not been asked to reprise his role and they've already got at least some English voice actors :/
