So I've been a big fan of Danish power metal band Pyramaze for a long time. For some reason, I never picked up their third album Immortal, possibly because I'm not the biggest Matt Barlow fan in the world (he was with Pyramaze for one album between Iced Earth stints). Don't get me wrong, he's awesome and a super nice guy, I just am in the minority of Iced Earth fans that prefer Ripper's vocals Anyway, I finally got Immortal recently and am giving it lots of spins. Very nice. His voice is growing on me with every listen. My favorite song so far is A Beautiful Death:
