The What The Hell Happened To Sinergy Thread

Not relevant to anything recent, but I just watched Fargo for the first time, which was directed by the Coen Brothers, the same guys who did the Big Lebowski. There is a recurring piece of music throughout, a Norwegian folk song called Den Bortkomne Sauen or 'The Lost Sheep'. If you listen to that piece of music, then listen to the chorus of Laid to Rest, the melody is identical. Just thought someone might find that interesting, I did seeing as it kind of ties in with the recent Lebowski themed songs.

One fan posted that a few years ago at the Sinergy board and Kimberly admit that she "stole" this melody for her song. She also said that this was the only part she ever used from a soundtrack and bands like Children Of Bodom are real masters with adapting such parts (for example the part from the soundtrack of The Rock in Bodom After Midnight).

BTW was there an old COB Board before this one?
I think it got deleted when Sinergy left Ultimate Metal. In 2003 they didn't have a website anymore and since there weren't any Sinergy related news, the interest of fans was fading away and there wasn't much going on at the board anymore.
Actually there were two COB boards before this one. When cobhc.com started on October 27th in 2000, they had some primitive board somewhere and after that they moved to some ezboard. In November 2001 they finally moved to Ultimate Metal. But I don't think that anything of the old boards can be found in the net.

Me too, I'd love to have seen Sinergy live and have lurked on Sinergy forums and talked about them as an active band. Besides, I would kill to get a hoodie like Roope's on T&L in Helsinki (To Tour And Back hoodie)
So Sinergy had a board here? Did Roope post in there (kind of like Janne used here)? That man fucking rocks.

Actually, if you are lucky enough, some threads can be viewed on the web archive. But it's only for the odd posts so... yeah.
So far, I have only been able to see one post Kimberly made, about how the um forum was gonna be deleted, and a new one was gonna be made when they started their new site.
Which never happened, unfortunately...

And duh, I do want Sinergy back too. Suprise, suprise. lol
Yeah, Roope posted under the name trooper (tROOPEr, get it?) at the Sinergy board but not very often. One time he was drunk and insulted some fans who had normal questions. In a way this was very funny and Kimberly, who also posted at the Sinergy board worried a lot. A few days later she asked him in their rehearsal room why he did that but he couldn't remember anything.
Kimberly posted a lot at the Sinergy board. At first she used her real name and later she called herself Kani. She always told some interesting stories. For example when Sinergy recorded their third album, she looked out of the window of the studio building and saw somebody who wanted to break into Alexi's car on the street. She screamed at the dude to fuck off and he immediately ran away.
Sometimes she also told stuff like that she and Alexi suffer from insomnia and she posted messages at the board at 4 a.m. in the morning or that Alexi lost his purse the day before or what they were cooking and so on...
