The Where The Fuck Are You Thread

Dude Jerry. That is the best game I've played for a very long time. I've put in over 100 hrs into it. Let me know what you think.

Last game I played was Simon's Quest.

Yeah sure it's from 1987 but I played it 2 weeks ago.

I don't discriminate against time. Fuckin' modernists.

Holy shit I also played that when it was brand new.

I AM GETTING FUCKING OLD.

Playing Witcher 2 before work.

Awesome game though I preferred the first one, atmosphere-wise. I'm on my second playthrough, trying to develop a diferent story arc.

Alas the enhanced version Steam installed without asking is killing me, it's ridden with annoying cutscene bugs and it feels less fluid than when I first played... At least I'll get extra quests and apparently a better ending...

I hope the third installment will write history again. Not before 2014 apparently though...

Played it for an hour and got my ass kicked repeatedly. Dark Souls is easy mode compared to this game. Definitely need to get familiar with the combat mechanics and the meditation/potion aspect.

it's not that hard tbh once you level up. Some fights in chapter 1 made me pull my hair off repeatedly even in normal mode, but once you get past that, there are only a couple really challenging fights ahead of you.

Use quen all the time and dodge all the time. I never really blocked, though. I beat the game as a mage (hardest difficulty) and a swordsman. The second to last boss is hard as a swordsman though.

I couldn't get into Dark Souls.

Too bad. It's awesome and they just released some cool DLC for it. Dark Souls is the only game I've ever gotten a platinum trophy for on PS3.

You're cool :kickass:

Demon's/Dark Souls have been the best games I've played in this generation of consoles. Nothing comes close to them. The sense of exploration and discovery is amazing. The sense of dread is unparalleled (except by maybe Amnesia) and the feeling of accomplishment is remarkable.

And some of those deaths you suffer are great. I always loved the deaths caused by blocking an enemy attack and having the force send you backwards off a cliff.

Heh, thus far Dark Souls shits on TW2. Too easy to get away with button mashing when facing small packs of foes. I hope it improves upon leveling up, as it's failing to hook me. The story is cool and all, but I can very easily just read a book.
