I guess I just don't like any of the "indie" that I've heard. Not my cup of tea at all. The difference is that with Radiohead, I personally know a shitload of people that think they are the best band ever. I'm not gonna say Radiohead suck (they may be good musicians and songwriters), but I hate their music.

Having not heard any Radiohead except that "I'm a loser" song I always put Radiohead in the same category as Coldplay - quiet, non-offensive and ultimately forgettable rock.

You should probably listen to more of them because Coldplay doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Radiohead. Not to mention, Radiohead doesn't write the same song over and over again.

It's tough when that's all anyone played in high school and I got sick of it. I hope I never hear Dave Matthews Band again
Much of the Images stuff sounds a lot heavier when performed live--David Prater's production sucks the life out of the heavier songs.
Hearing early live recordings will give you a new appreciation for the When Dream and Day Unite material as well. "A Fortune in Lies" absolutely rips.
Now, on topic...
This is a tough one. There are few metal CDs I've heard that I really hate, because I won't buy something if I think I will hate it. Blood Mountain by Mastodon comes to mind. Slugeprogcore with tuff-guy bellowing? No thanks. In Sorte Diaboli killed my residual interest in Dimmu Borgir forever. Vulgar Display of Power was certainly vulgar, all right.
Wait, now I remember. It's not metal, but Portishead's s/t is far and away the worst music that I actually inserted into my CD player myself, although there are worse hip-hop, gospel, rapcore, pop, and R&B CDs that other people have played in my presence. The worst CD that I have ever heard in any manner that I know the identity of is definitely Avril Lavigne's new album, the one with that awful "Girlfriend" song.
I will introduce you to a musician you will hate more than any other in the entire world, including Dave Matthews. Meet Chuggo:[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRWQ207gBDA]Chuggo[/ame] I have not heard his CD(s) and I never will, because this song is plenty enough for me.
