I was gonna point it out and then realised that I wouldn't want my kids raised in a family like that.
I'm fine with gay marriage and that, but thrusting some poor kid in this odd family situtation ain't right.

Gay adoption doesn't mean taking kids away from their families and giving them to gay people. You realize that, right? It means that crack whores or teenage mothers or other fuckheads who'd make atrocious parents put their kids up for adoption and they are adopted by gay people. Better than starving/being abused/etc.

Don't know if you're joking but that's not a very good argument. By that logic you could ban fat women from having children because her kids will be obvious targets for "your mom" jokes. Gay people are just as qualified to be parents and the fact that some bigoted people will make fun of the kids isn't a reason to not allow them to adopt.

Whether or not it feels right, can you actually think of a reason why they shouldn't be allowed to adopt? Is there any justification for denying them that right?

Eh. Maybe it's just the fact I grew up, one kid tried to be all gangsta and kiss me on the forehead "Godfather" style, and I ended being called gay for 4 fucking years. Maybe it's just different areas, but honestly no.
The only reason I can think of is through my own personal experiences of bullying, and that doesn't really hold up against the statistics of stabler homes, wealthier parents, and parents that will actually love the kid. I'm not saying it's fucking a sin against god or anything stupid like that, I'm just thinking of stuff the kid might go through.

No but you can't dispute that having gay parents isn't going to be a bigger catalyst for such bullying than heterosexual parents.
