I just want to make sure that you are aware of this:

Tuesday's events quickly turned the United States from the most relaxed and least nationalistic country in the world to the most pissed and utterly patriotic country in the world.

After Tuesday's events, most of this country now is willing to die for their freedom. Most of this country wants to die for their freedom. I would watch my mouths if I were you.

you got that right !!!!!!! it doesnt bother me anymore that people
talk shit about the u.s., most of them live in shit hole countries, and just wish they lived in a great place like the u.s. ! !!!!!!!!
all the trouble in the world today is from the middle east. all the
countries in the world should join up and take that place over.
put in a better government( socialist, capitalist, whatever) just
not a dictatorship. i'm sure the people of those countries would
love some freedom. and i'm sure the women of those countries
would love not be treated like shit aswell.

If you are an American citizen and believe that we were even in the slightest way responsible for these completely unprovoked acts of savage brutality against innocent civilians, then GET THE FUCK OUT of this country. I would like to use a piece of twin towers to crush your fucking skull in if you think this way...

if you really think that way you're no better than the animals that committed the attack!!!!!!

WHO ARE YOU? Look at you, you're just like the cowards who did these terrible actions without claiming them. "Unregistered"?

All the cowards hide.

Demonspell was right there when it happened, still not even nearly recovered, and look at you....

I completely agree with Demonspell, and I've said it on this board before: if you think that the US is responsible for these attacks, then you should leave the country. You are not American. LEAVE.

I am getting sick of all this american pride and "God Bless America" talk, it makes me want to puke... I am in no way condoning the actions of these terrorist, they are not good people, but to see a truck going down the street today that had a sign saying "Kill all the ragheads, and let god sort em out," makes me wonder how good any of us are. Not all islamic people and people from the middle east are bad (or terrorists), not that the U.S. would show us though, all the media shows are the ones who are dancing in the streets, it is like they want us to hate them... I don't... Now we are going to have war, and people are happy??? What the fuck, that is sick... I mean war is inevitable at this point after what happened but how can people be applauding it... If you do applaud it, then grab your balls and gun and go enlist... otherwise shut your mouth up about being happy about it, I am really disgusted by the world we have created... Timothy Leary where are you now

A TRIBUTE TO THE UNITED STATES

This, from a Canadian newspaper, is worth sharing.

America: The Good Neighbor.

Widespread but only partial news coverage was given recently to a remarkable
editorial broadcast from Toronto by Gordon Sinclair, a Canadian television
commentator. What follows is the full text of his trenchant remarks as
printed in the Congressional Record:

"This Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as the most
generous and possibly the least appreciated people on all the earth.
Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Britain and Italy were lifted out of
the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of dollars and
forgave other billions in debts. None of these countries is today paying
even the interest on its remaining debts to the United States. When France
was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans who propped it up,
and their reward was to be insulted and swindled on the streets of Paris. I
was there. I saw it.

When earthquakes hit distant cities, it is the United States that hurries in
to help. This spring, 59 American communities were flattened by tornadoes.
Nobody helped.

The Marshall Plan and the Truman Policy pumped billions of dollars! into
discouraged countries. Now newspapers in those countries are writing about
the decadent, warmongering Americans.

I'd like to see just one of those countries that is gloating over the
erosion of the United States dollar build its own airplane. Does any other
country in the world have a plane to equal the Boeing Jumbo Jet, the
Lockheed Tri-Star, or the Douglas DC10? If so, why don't they fly them? Why
do all the International lines except Russia fly American Planes? Why does
no other land on earth even consider putting a man or woman on the moon? You
talk about Japanese technocracy, and you get radios. You talk about German
technocracy, and you get automobiles. You talk about American technocracy,
and you find men on the moon -! not once, but several times - and safely
home again.

You talk about scandals, and the Americans put theirs right in the store
window for everybody to look at. Even their draft-dodgers are not pursued
and hounded. They are here on our streets, and most of them, unless they are
breaking Canadian laws, are getting American dollars from ma and pa at home
to spend here.

When the railways of France, Germany and India were breaking down through
age, it was the Americans who rebuilt them. When the Pennsylvania Railroad
and the New York Central went broke, nobody loaned them an old caboose. Both
are still broke.

I can name you 5000 times when the Americans raced to the help of other
people in trouble. Can you name me even one time when someone else raced to
the Americans in trouble? I don't think there was outside help even during
the San Francisco earthquake. Our neighbors have faced it alone, and I'm one
Canadian who is damned tired of hearing them get kicked around. They will
come out of this thing with their flag high. And when they do, they are
entitled to thumb their nose at the lands that are gloating over their
present troubles. I hope Canada is not one of those."

Stand proud, America!

This is one of the best editorials that I have ever read regarding the
United States. It is nice that one man realizes it. I only wish that the
rest of the world would realize it. We are always blamed for everything and
never even get a thank you for the things we do.

o yeah to that LSD dork, sorry you dont like american pride.
how many times has america helped out your shitty country???

oh here is some bullshit, this is an article about our fellow god-loving american Rev. Falwell... This guy is complete shit... enjoy...

...........................Create Your Own Religion...........................

God Gave U.S. 'What We Deserve,' Falwell Says

By John F. Harris
Washington Post Staff Writer
Friday, September 14, 2001; Page C03

Television evangelists Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson, two of the most prominent voices of the religious right, said liberal civil liberties groups, feminists, homosexuals and abortion rights supporters bear partial responsibility for Tuesday's terrorist attacks because their actions have turned God's anger against America.

"God continues to lift the curtain and allow the enemies of America to give us probably what we deserve," said Falwell, appearing yesterday on the Christian Broadcasting Network's "700 Club," hosted by Robertson.

"Jerry, that's my feeling," Robertson responded. "I think we've just seen the antechamber to terror. We haven't even begun to see what they can do to the major population."

Falwell said the American Civil Liberties Union has "got to take a lot of blame for this," again winning Robertson's agreement: "Well, yes."

Then Falwell broadened his blast to include the federal courts and others who he said were "throwing God out of the public square." He added: "The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked. And when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad. I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People for the American Way -- all of them who have tried to secularize America -- I point the finger in their face and say, 'You helped this happen.' "

People for the American Way transcribed the broadcast and denounced the comments as running directly counter to President Bush's call for national unity. Ralph G. Neas, the liberal group's president, called the remarks "absolutely inappropriate and irresponsible."

Robertson and others on the religious right gave critical backing to Bush last year when he was battling for the GOP presidential nomination. A White House official called the remarks "inappropriate" and added, "The president does not share those views."

Falwell was unrepentant, saying in an interview that he was "making a theological statement, not a legal statement."

"I put all the blame legally and morally on the actions of the terrorist," he said. But he said America's "secular and anti-Christian environment left us open to our Lord's [decision] not to protect. When a nation deserts God and expels God from the culture . . . the result is not good."

Robertson was not available for comment, a spokeswoman said. But she released a statement echoing the remarks he made on his show. An ACLU spokeswoman said the group "will not dignify the Falwell-Robertson remarks with a comment."

man do i hate religious points of view, they make the issues seem
like such bullshit. if there s god, why didnt he stop the terrorists,
and why does he let assholes like that represent him

well as Christians would say "God works in mysterious ways" I am sorry but what a crock of shit, and if there is this Christian version of god that does this kind of shit to people, I hate him

Do I have to repeat myself?
Well on the third page of the "America under attack!" there is the tribute to USA ptII. Go there, read it and if you are smart enough you will reconsider some things, if not well "c' est la vie"; keep up this fascism, and patriotic attitude.

As long as my shitty country is concerned I tell you this: My country is Greece. Greece is a shitty country with over 4000 years of history and the establishment of Democracy as well as many of the branches of today's science. Carpology, Anthropology and most of the science branches ending in -logy (-logy comes from a greek word as well) come from greek terms.

I wouldn't ever talk shit about USA or any other country since it is against my beliefs (fuck religion, my personal beliefs I mean). I would only talk true (or whatever I call truth).

Nick from shit-hole called Greece.

PS: Is this nationalitism, or what?
PS2: Is it that a real US patriot killed in cold blood a guy that looked like Arabian?
PS3: Greatly civilized is the fact that so many nationalistic messages have been written to walls. I would consider this acts from people of "thirdworld shit holes like Greece".
PS4: 83%? Not bad at all for intelligent people that have great structure on their system and the "American Dream" to live for.

Btw, we'll have our revenge. It's only a matter of time.
As Jethro Tull have said:

If Jesus saves-well,he'd better save himself,
from the gory glory seekers who use his name in death.

Isn't your God who says to turn the other cheek?

PS:Fuck organized religion.

hey metalized - don´t bother! fanatism isn´t restricted to middle east and so is nationalism. Our friends in the us are educated in a very different manner then we in europe are ... very different to austria (yes i know that we´re nazis). Therefore (and cause they are able to) they will seek their revenge in the only(?) way they can ... in war against a stone age country!
:(
bush will be thrilled by this situation - but for how long? actually us loves their president so that one could think: hey, reminds me of "wag the dog" ... he´s stupid, yep, but for sure not all of his advisors are - what in hell will they bomb in afghanistan??? tents??? have they forgotten what russia had to pay??
How many us citizens recomend militaristic action against these aggressors? more than 80%?
War brings destruction, death and economical chaos . As soon as war´s over one has to rebuild and deal with open bills resulting from the conflict.
I hope the us´ll take revenge form this cruelty by other means.
*sarcastic mode on*
Before i forget - shoot your TV evangelists!!
*sarcastic mode off*

poor world

Your hopes are quite close to my hopes. But I fear that these hopes are too vague for the US (Goverment and 83% of the citizens) to take under considaration.

Poor world, indeed!

unregistered- I am from America, so don't go pointing fingers at my country because I live here... I was brought up in this place with the mentality that we (americans) have the best country, we are strong, we are proud, we have god on our side, we are supreme... seriously that is the mentality... I don't believe in Christianity but it seems strange that in this country where Christianity is basically crammed down your throat that it teaches american pride, isn't pride one of the seven deadly sins. Sorry I am not so happy to be american, I am a human being, and think I am no better than anyone else, different but equal, I think on a larger scale than just america... boundaries are bullshit... just look at the world we live in

1. Come and get me, boys. I won't hurt you too much :)
2. Canada! Canada! Canada!
3. Thank you for seeing that some Americans know the rest are full of shit and want to bomb the first person that takes a dump wrong if they could get away with it.
