Top 10 Symphonic Metal Albums

Are therion worth checking out, given my tastes?

Hell yeah, I'd say so. Their early stuff is more symphonic death metal, but their recent material is a very classically influenced, mature symphonic sound. In my opinion, the albums to check out are Deggial, Secret of the Runes, Lemuria/Sirius B, and Gothic Kaballah. They had a few albums before Deggial that were great too, but my favorites are the more recent stuff.

That album is fuckin' sweet. Trul is one of the coolest songs ever, I think. It's rare you find a song with no actual words in the chorus, but still one of coolest choruses I've ever heard.
