Now that you've seen the individual lists, a word about the cumulative list:

Most of these scores were reflections of two staff picks. E.g. Dream Theater were picked by Papa Josh and Evil C, Arch Enemy were picked by Chief B and Evil C etc. Both were given high spots so they got high scores.

Negura Bunget came in three times (twice at #1 and once at #3) so it took the overall #1 spot with 28 pts.

Anyway, the point is, this cumulative list is hardly reflective of the entire staff since there just weren't enough commonalities. (There was not a single album that we ALL had in our top 10 lists for example). So anyway, since it's not fair representation, I chose not to publish the cumulative list and just leave it for this thread.

I wouldn't take the list too seriously therefore, and rather have you discuss the individual lists if anything. I think they reflect the tastes of the corresponding staff writer, and for that they look pretty sharp & accurate.
