I hate them due to the fact that they are horrible, boring, generic metalcore.

The image and attitude of the members doesn't help either.

I hate Trivium but they are not an emo band. Nor do they have many fans like that.

I liked Ember to Inferno, I liked Ascendency, but I only like one song on The Crusade.

I don't care what other people think, I still don't mind Trivium...
and I like everything.

It really isn't, I don't listen to it much anymore but I still enjoyed it.

i agree that their latest album was pretty weak. but ascendancy was awesome. and they are a great live act (i saw them earlier this year when they were backing machine head)

Ember to Inferno and Ascendancy are two good albums, but "The Crusade" was just horrible. It was just so boring and unoriginal.
Turned them into Metallica wannabes.
Hope they are changing some shit before the next album, cause the band members are skilled and im sure they can put out a badass album one day...

The sheer amount of ego that surrounds the band has prompted me to never even bother to listen to them. A bit like Metallica, in that sense.

I just can't bring myself to care enough to even try to not like them.
