Hey I currently am hunting for good metal music to expand my taste and I am going to see if there is any Opeth that is pretty good. So what albums and songs would you reccomend for me?

Try to get your hands on a full album, and sit down with the lyrics and listen to the whole thing. Blackwater park is a good choice, there's a fair bit of variety in the songs, but it still flows very well and feels complete and solid.
 
Okay I just listened to the song Blackwater Park and here are my two cents. Well I did find the instrumental part kinda interesting. But as for the lyrics, well I was reading the song's lyrics on www.darklyrics.com as I played the song on Windows Media Player, and I have to say that I found the theme quite strange.:rolleyes:
