Types of people you don't like

Yeah, that's fucking ridiculous. The loud screaming fringe is all that gets any attention now, at the expense of the core of the movement that recognizes that inherent issues women face in patriarchal society, but that it isn't an evil plot by each individual man to carry it out.

As far as the penis comment goes, that person is outright fucking stupid and NOT in any way representative of the average feminist. (Honestly, I will say that there needs to be much greater willingness to call people on their shit WITHIN the feminist movement) Its stupid for the fact that penises are not strictly male to begin with anyways. There are many trans women who have penises...but that person would likely consider said trans women to not be "real women" or something like most of the TERF scum do.

EDIT:

People who allow themselves to have their overall opinion of a movement decided by the lunatic fringe of a given movement.

People make the exact same justifications for good cops despite their willingness to cover for bad cops that abuse citizens. People make the same case for the Catholic Church covering up child molestation cases. "It's not everyone," yeah, but there's sure as hell enough baggage to get me to say that I won't have anything to do with these organizations.

I'm sure there are calm, intelligent feminists who make a thought out case and are perfectly capable of holding down a civil debate. Unfortunately, most of the ones I've talked to think talking over you in a blind rage makes for a valid argument. I would also add that I don't see how the more subtle issues like shaving and wearing a bra are societal issues. It's nitpicking nonsense based out of emotion and heavily implies a tyrannical restructuring of society, if not directly argued for.

If not repulsed by many of the arguments radical feminists make, I'm annoyed enough by the average feminist to dissociate myself from the label and people who regularly make me feel like I'm walking on egg shells.

I do think there are people who use music primarily as a fashion statement. .

True. But on the other end of the spectrum there are the excessively "anti-fashion" kind of fans that think that any band that wears anything more complex than jeans and a T-shirt on stage are "fucking theatrical posers" or whatever. The way I see it, music is all about creativity, and there's nothing at all creative about wearing ordinary everyday clothes when you perform live music. Also, metal at its core is all about rebellion against mainstream culture, and that's hardly symbolised by the afore-mentioned boring teenage kid attire. And that's why THIS:

Will always be 1000 times BETTER than this CRAP:

Ross Bay Cult bestial war black metal elitists. Not only is the music horrible, but the fans are starting to look down on 90s Norwegian black metal as if it's tame and outdated. Stupid fucking trend based around music that is quite deliberately purpose-made to be unlistenable.

I actually have this aversion to rude people. Maybe it's a cultural thing but I'm not saying you gotta give all of yourself to people but it gets on my nerves when people are dismissive and stuck up. No need to have a bad attitude tbh.

When I go to a show, I am not concerned with what the band is wearing, rather the quality of the music/sound/performance etc. I'd rather a band play well and sound good while looking normal than the typical black metal band looking like morons and also sounding like total shit.

The quality of the music isn't the issue being debated here, son, it's the look of the bands. Go ahead and tell me which of the above two photos that I posted you think is a more appropriate look for an extreme metal band while performing...

Concerning feminism.... perfect example came up recently. I 'like' this D&D meme page on facebook, and they removed this pic

Because a bunch of chicks got offended over it. It's not even like it's that funny of a picture anyways, but as soon as some cunt shouts feminism, organizations or entities feel the need to give in to their whiny demands lest they be seen as sexist. They even made a separate post implying they'd post the pic for those who missed it, and didn't, just posted a white square and said all their fans are awesome and they didn't wanna hurt any feelings or whatever. Some of the more on point/ entertaining comments from that thread:

"this picture is typical of a cis white male you are just displaying patriarchal needs to shift focus from the fact that you are oppressing dungeon n dragons ramble ramble ramble"

"Frankly, I think anyone, man or woman, who is obsessed with how nerd they are or their position 'in the community' is a total douche. Stop caring what other 'nerds' think about what a 'real nerd' you are and roll the fuckin dice"

"If you want to keep it a joke/meme page then don't delete anything because someone gets upset. You lose credibility as a joke page."

Point is, feminism rarely goes hand in hand with gender equality. Feminists have no problem if a male superhero (or d&d character) is buff as fuck beyond any realistic expectations, as long as the female characters have tits her own size and the same amount of fat she does.

I also do not like feminists. Especially when you consider all the modern commercials nowadays painting men as total retards while the wife helps him figure shit out. "A DOY I CAN'T GET THESE BLINDS PUT UP!" Then the wife shakes her head with a smile and holds up some stupid product for blind placement.

I understand being irked by pedestrian diatribes made up of concatenations of buzzwords, but there's absolutely logical ground for finding that picture offensive. Refer to the exchange that Ein and Vimana had earlier in this thread. In this case, it's common knowledge that within the gaming community, women are often marginalized and consigned to rigid, negative archetypes. Sure, women like this do exist, but within the context of the often-sexist gaming community, there is a high probability that many people subscribed to that page will see this as a universal: a reinforcement of a narrative they have constructed in which all "conventionally attractive" women that game do so with a cosmetic ulterior motive.

But similar to what was said earlier, I'm not saying the hypothetical reactions I proposed above warrants censorship. All we can do is talk about it.

I got into D&D when I was 15 and never experienced any problems. Never felt the need to prove myself, never got any shit, except one DM who was giving me all sorts of perks our first play because he assumed I was a noob. Figured out the truth real fast. Always been a gamer, too.

Frankly, I think the only women that get shit are the ones who flaunt their femininity. If you constantly make it obvious that you're a female first, and a gamer/shooter/ whatever predominantly male hobby you're into, second, then yeah you're gonna get some shit and should get some shit.

You're confining yourself to your own experiences and not considering those of women as a whole if you don't think there is a view that women don't belong in gaming. Just look at this "GamerGate" thing going on now. It started well enough trying to expose corruption within gaming journalism, but devolved Into "women are trying to ruin our hobby!"

You're a retard, and you are easily amused by cheap gimmicks.

Go ahead and call me "son" or "lad", it won't make your points any less idiotic.

I just care about a band looking the way they sound instead of looking like mommy's boys on the way to Mcdonald's, sonny boy lad. You lack the creativeness of mind to understand the importance of showmanship and pageantry, clearly.

I don't give a fuck about what a band looks like.

When you're dealing with a group of people that are predominantly fucking idiots, it should be no surprise to find rampant sexism, racism etc.

I would totally upvote the shit out of this post.
