The most crap I ever got for a positive review of a cd was Evergrey's Monday Morning Apocalypse
Now that was a release that I loved that seems hated by the metal scene in general.
Agreed. It's one hell of a good album in my opinion. Also fixed your typo of Evergey =P
Also, I don't see the hate for Opeth's Ghost Reveries, Ghost Of Perdition, ReverieHarlequin Forest and The Baying Of The Hounds are awesome songs, and all the others come under the good-very good range in my opinion.
I agree, GR wasn't the best of their albums, but it was bloody good. I think people hate it because of the mainstream success that it recieved.
I saw some love for them on the Hardcore thread.not metal, but I'm probably the only person on this board who geniunely likes Discharge.
I saw some love for them on the Hardcore thread.
hehe. yeah, hardcore/punk is thus unpopular. Just don't mess with the Exploited, Barmy ArmyI wish I could ressurect that thread but V5 might close it for "NOT BEING METAL"
hardcore and metal are the same, just different hair, as the saying goes...
Probably not, they're number 43 on my last.fm. I like everything I've heard from them (1977-82 mainly). I seem to remember a lot of people praising Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing in that thread where that guy was arguing that there wasn't much punk influence in thrash as well.not metal, but I'm probably the only person on this board who geniunely likes Discharge.
