VCC Released

You guys got me with all you praising and hype.
I bought it :)

Two things or I will be super pissed:

1. It MUST run super smooth on my new mac pro (jan. 2011) quadcore 3,2ghz with 12gb Ram. If not the plugin is shit :)

2. It realy has to sound that good. the samples I heared totaly blew my mind. It is realy a 2D->3D maker?!?!

Oh and steven, I bought it on ebay (audiodeluxe dutchmuzik, totaly legit dudes) and wanted to ask how the transfer stuff will work?

When all bugs are fixed you will not run out of CPU because of VCC, imo.
But now it's useless(atleast for me), running the beta without ANY problem for about 5 hours btw...

Listening to that I can't decide which I like better for snare, the API adds a nice brightness, the Trident really makes it pop, and the SSL does something really cool to the attack that I love. They're all brilliant! Maybe I can start running my snare through all 3? :loco:

I know exactly what you mean.
I found the api to be the "worst" in that clip. The neve and the trident realy pushed the mix in a new dimension.
the SSL did something amazing to the guitars, made them flat->3D

I bet the api killz for agressive rock and punk because of the pushing

I did one of my snares through the api and ssl and that enabled God Mode

Due to the lack of demoing and audible results I have been pretty reluctant to buying VCC but the video Gabriel G. posted sold me... Order placed :)
Am I the only one to really prefer the Trident on this video by the way? It seems everybody is talking about the Neve, API or SSL, but don't show much love for the Trident.

I didn't listen to the demo, but I love the Trident in practice - it does a great job of emphasizing the air and presence in a track, which is really nice for pulling things forward in a mix.

The Trident is ridiculously punchy/aggressive. Makes the upper mids stick out in a good way. Currently mixing and album through it

I never used it on the Beta, FYI

Mmmmh, VCC seems quite buggy to me. I'm on a Mac, using Pro Tools, and I have installed VCC v1.1.

VCC is not showing the Group names in the "group assign and display". Also, it's not even keeping the settings I have done for the groups. When I insert a new plugin on a track, it resets everything (every other instances of the plugin) back to the default value (Brit 4K with 0db Drive and Input) instead of keeping my settings for each.
And on top of this, I had two crashes in Pro Tools in 5 minutes, on blank projects with no audio, just 8 audio tracks with VCC on each.

Is 1.0.6 more stable than 1.1? Please tell me yes because as of now, my plugin is useless...

For me the Version 1.05 was the most stable version, but very shitty anyways...

None of the mentioned problems where fixed and now I'm back on the beta version.
It would be cool if Mr. Slate could chime in and give us a rough time frame for the fixing process?!

Atleast I have no freezing or audio dropouts with the beta but it would be cool to use this payed plugin with all his abilities someday...

I'm still using the BETA and I refuse to install the final one until all bugs are ironed out... Beta sounds amazing and works right, no bugs at all so I don't see any reason to update atm

srange stuff is happening to me...when i first tried VCC it really made everyting "fit" better,
yesterday i loaded it up, nothing, cranked everyting up still nothing, it seemed like there was no difference,
like it was bypassed but it wasn't...maybe i was just too tired...
