VCC Released

here's a "test" that contains a raw drum loop, consoles applied at gain 0 and at gain +6.

i i also not sure if...i got 2 .dll plugin files, but only one shows up in cubase...

DOWNLOAD@DROPBOX

what do you guys think?

The symbol is a trident not a menorah :)

trident = toft mixer

Works like it should: subtle

Yeah this plugin sounds good but it is VERY POORLY PROGRAMMED. I'm having all kind of issues with it in Pro Tools on Mac, the groups name don't show up, basically the whole gang function doesn't work, and now it's cutting the signal on one of my tracks as if it was acting like a gate (in the "Neve" mode). If I didn't get an ilok 2 with it, I would seriously ask for an immediate refund (but it'd be a hassle because of the ilok)... Very annoyed and disappointed :(

+1

The sad fact is that I could'nt live without it anymore...
Glad that I saved the beta but the whole developing process we're in is totally annoying.

I hope the Slate Camp is able to fix the stuff, also desirable for future releases...

ok, i did another test just for myself

updated to the latest version,
loaded up a drum loop and added all 4
consoles in a row with gain all maxed out in the insert

...not a minimal change in sound, NOTHING!

shouldn't it be at least a little bit louder!?

can you please post these files, too?

here it is, but i'll have to saythere there IS a raise in volume at least,
heard in only when i turned up the speakers a bit.

first no VCC, second all 4 console models in a row with full gain. i am not expacting a
massive change in sound but at least i've expected the volume to raise drastically
which didn't IMHO...maybe i'm just deaf

haven't heard the samples but:
do you really think you would'nt hear the difference?
It's bugland...

You can def hear (if the plugin works) a difference with all of the models!

i am not a guy der das grad wachsen hört :)D) but when i demod the plugin
i could hear a difference. second point is, when i turned up the gain the
raise in volume was also clearly audible...

now i have only a small raise in volume when i put the plugin 4 times
in a row with the gain maxed out on every instance

...so i became deaf since i demoed the plugin or there
is just something not working...

i do not have any problems with the GUI or crashing btw...:Smug:

To be honest I would much rather be able to drive the console harder without having the volume jumping out at me. Makes it easier to A/B. Auto gain adjustment is great in my book.

Does anyone know of a Mac RTAS eq that does this btw? Used to use Nyquist back in the day but that doesn't work with the vst wrapper.

I've been getting some weird freezing of my meters and stuff in PT9. Audio doesn't tend to drop out though and it seems to catch up with itself eventually. Still not ideal though.
