Sucks for you guys. and i think it's bullshit....Why can't Slate and there company Finish one thing completely and then Move on to the next thing(SSD4)....they got to many things going
anyone who needs the WinRTAS version, email me now at slate@stevenslate.com and I'll get it to you. We have it done, but are waiting to release it along with a bigger update build.

Not only does Steve have the other versions, and really "finishing" the VCC...
He's also working on SSD4 or what was promised eons ago as the "platinum" kits.
But this is what really blew my mind when VCC isn't even complete... Steve Tweeted that he's... and I quote... "Been modeling some cool hardware for a new plugin. I can't tell you what it is. But I'll say that you're gonna like. A lot."
I love the Slate Pro audio products but geez Steve, how about tackling one thing at a time? The other version of VCC really should come first since they were promised they would be done very shortly after the original release of VCC. Don't you agree?

Hi Matt. We have different teams here who are working on stuff. My work on SSD4 is done, so that is into the SSD4 programmers now. My work with the VCC is done, so that is with the Slate Digital programmers now. So rather than twiddle the ole thumbs, I'm working on new shit!!

Steve, got ya. I am just feeling for the guys who were promised their version of the VCC would be released within a month of the original release, and I would be pretty upset if I still were waiting for it.
Luckily I've been able to enjoy it since the release. I'd be going nuts if I was still waiting.
BTW... I am looking forward to what you're ole thumbs are up to.

its just a bit of a shame we have to bitch and moan about it before you offered up the build Steven.
Question, do you think if you bitched and moaned about a problem with another developer's software.. which I see happen all the time.. do you think the head of that company would come here to the Andy Sneap forum and personally help people out with their issues?

No, it'll be an official update which will fix some issues and offer Win RTAS. There are a few other things reported that will still be addressed in another update.
At this point, unless you are WinRTAS, the plugin works very well in 90% of systems and configs. There are some very specific issues that people have reported, and we're fixing them.
Once the WinRTAS update is released, everything else we'll be working on is very minor. We have working 64bit versions as well, but PACE needs to approve them.

Fair enough Steve. But you shouldn't make all those promises you can't keep. You have been doing it over and over again. Learn from that, don't do it again.

Ok point taken steven, but when you came here telling us we would have a working version in 30 days, and we waited and waited, watched everyone else get their updates, and waited and waited some more with no decent explanation weeks went by and nothing, so we bitch about it and then you pop up saying hey email me and il give you a build, as if we coulda had it ages ago if we were vocal enough about it, well sorry if we are a little pissed off*but what do you expect from us when you make promises and then don't deliver even after double the length of time you stated.
