Noone has an "overbearing sense of blinding nostalgia", it's just that nearly everyone except you has the ability to judge music not by age or notoreity, but by quality.

AKA (legendary band 1) isn't a worse band than others in this competition because they came out in the _0s, they're worse because their music isn't as good. You people tend to think I'm "all about modern music" which simply isn't the case. I just think people are fooling themselves as to why a band is relevant to them. I'll know full well that people hate Opeth and see why, despite their being my first band, unfortunately, no else here seems to be able to do that. I'm just honestly surprised at how people completely fail in every way to be able to discuss this around here.
