Watershed Artwork?

Well i did fit the albumtitle quite well but i do think that cover is kinda un-Opethy for some reason, most Opeth covers are less focused on specific details and more subtile,i think it will be like that now too. But that cover looked cool.

^ Yeah I felt the same way. Im sure the new cover will be just as good as the others.. only album cover I never really liked was ghost reveries.

I don't know, I kind of liked the GR cover. I'm pretty partial to the Deliverance cover myself. I like shit with old houses and ghosts and stuff. Especially with the face in the mirror, near the clock. Definitely the eeriest of Opeth's covers.

Indeed, i always loved how theres the the face in the mirror, but the face is nowhere to be seen aside from its reflection.

You know, depending on the context Opeth is using the title Watershed, it may not necessarily have anything to do with "water." Just a little fyi thrown out there. Besides, that picture in the first post looked nothing like an Opeth cover imo.

I think it's gonna be something in light blue tones. Actually, I'm waitiung for the new cover the same as for the new album. Just love Travis' paintings - it's Opeth itself. It's so great that they've found each other!

I'm sticking with my autumn colors/deep forest/abandoned building scheme. Maybe with the same vibe as Black Sabbath's first album cover, but without the freaky chick...

Apparently there's all kinds of symbolism, so my guess is that it's actually a fairly complex cover. In other words, more than just a building or, say, pictures of trees.
