Watershed Artwork?

Apparently there's all kinds of symbolism, so my guess is that it's actually a fairly complex cover. In other words, more than just a building or, say, pictures of trees.

A close-up photo of Mikael's hairy chest? That would be kinda complex, and you wouldn't guess it instantly that it's a dude's chest! :D

I like the new Still Life cover the most.
BWP is nice artwork but pretty plain.

man, for a second there I thought I was gonna read through all these posts without anyone claiming Still life as their favorite! idk, if I could pick a single one out (depends on my mood) but everything about the still life album art (and layout, pics, etc.) was quite amazing and deserves some respect!

meh, i just can't see opeth having a cover like that..

i mean, compared to all the others.

that one just doesn't seem to fit, like i don't know... too plain for opeth. i mean, of course the picture has rich detail, but i doubt opeth would have some poor shmuck being rained on for their next record. it would make sence for the concept, but thats just not epic enough for opeth.

blah

you get what i mean :p

SL is actually my favourite. Mostly because of the strong, brilliant red that's used, particularly on the back with the tracklist. I recall being completely :dopey: when I first saw the cover and the back of it in the record store.

I find the other covers to be cool looking and interesting, but at the same time a bit bland and weightless.
