PS. I love Watershed, it's their best since BWP, Hessian Peel and Heir Apparent are immense, the whole album was twenty times better than I expected.

Waz is a guy who is on here and gets banned and keeps coming back without choosing a variated username or hiding the fact he is waz, and he always talks like:

"hay guys...new watrshed albm is gud...exmple exampl examepl...PEAC EOUT"

He was originally banned for a reason which has become some sort of sacred silence on the board, he told me it was for posting covers of Opeth songs (which I'm afraid to talk about for fear of being banned myself.) Any account he now makes gets banned for mostly anything nowadays. I am supportive of Waz and don't think he's a troll, but unfortunately some despise him.

ooook, well this is the first and only account i've ever made on here, i just recently tried to join the group cause i wanted to interact with some fellow opeth fans, there aren't that many around where i live, actually the only people around here that i know listen to anything resembling metal music like bands such as pod and linkin park and nickelback or whatever, i don't know what so called "metal" bands are popular these days, cause as i said, all i listen to is opeth. i don't think i've done anything to make me me "waz" or whatever, and if i did, i apologize.

I think as a whole the album isn't as impressive as past works, but individual songs themselves are very spectacular.

the death metal vocals aren't driving the disc, with the exception of heir apparent. this means that when they come in they seem completely and utterly out of place. if opeth are gonna continue in this direction they're going to have to drop the screams altogether, they're not working. (still only 80% of the way through a second listen, opinions are subject to change).

I agree with you here. I think they work on Hessian Peel though.
