I've actually read (on another forum) the opinions of the US held by foreigners (mostly Europeans) who have visited here. Most of them say that much of the food was a lot better. The common exceptions were milk, bread and- ironically- Coca Cola, since we no longer use real cane sugar. The portions of food and drink are also absurdley huge here, apparently. So good food + a shit load of it + we all have cars and computers = We're fat.
