What do you see as a 'disgrace' to metal music? Why?

Wait, actually I'm too generous and willing to give the benefit of the doubt to you lying fucks sometimes. I didn't say anywhere that it would be simple. You and Omni are rats lately.

I made fun of you one time for having a drastic change of opinion and you're calling me a rat in a discussion that I'm not even taking part in. Get thicker skin.

And you just had to respond to being called a rat, get thicker skin.

Also thinking a death metal album is average and evoking no passion one way or the other within me and then nearly 2 years later thinking it's high-tier death metal is not a drastic change of opinion, at least not to me.

"All I'd have to do" implies it's a simple matter. Your conflating of percentages and number counts is objectively wrong. The only lying fuck and goalpost shifter here is you.

Where did I conflate those things?

You first brought up my 99% argument, I explained that 99% means 1000 better-than-OK albums, then you brought up demos, EPs, etc as if my original argument was about 1000 releases in general, when it wasn't.

If you can find just 50 better-than-OK releases in any format (excluding compilations) from 2006 I'll admit to being wrong.

I made the argument that if you're going to judge all metal post-1994 it should be expanded beyond just albums because metal isn't defined just by albums, that's all. Pretty reasonable imo.

How do you feel about grindcore?

My understanding of "better than okay" is anything that is "good or better than good."
The overwhelming majority of albums here I've heard and am familiar with and the rest are by bands I know are good and I just went ahead and Youtubed the album while at work.

*51st album thanks to Omni and 52nd albums thanks to Dazed.

I've only heard about 8 of those albums and would only call 2 of those 8 (Hammers of Misfortune and Solitude Aeturnus) good, but at least that's a pretty diverse list.

Appreciating the Celtic Frost worship and insane cymbal work in the first track so far. Vocalist reminds me of Vomitor so extra points there too.

Edit: fucking hell, this rules. Add it to my 50 list.
