i'm reading the hitch-hiker's guide to galaxy (trilogy in four parts) right now and i must admit it's very funny. at places it resembles the best terry pratchett. english humour all the way (of course) and not as many puns - mostly techno-sci-fi-centered - but very interesting situations and ideas. the only problem is the plot, which is uncomprehensible and vague at best. ;)
however, you gotta love stuff like: "eddies in the space-time continuum!" "oh, is he?" :lol:
