I tried a currency converter but I got either over $2k usd or if I copy paste that exact number how it's written I get around $1 usd

I guess if your making impulses for a living $2k isn't that bad. I'm merely looking out of curiosity.

I wonder what the point of it is over Altiverb? Their impulses are the best I've come across and they include the impulse creation software, and it's $500 for the whole package.

It is the international bank standard. A dot is thousand separator, comma is decimal separator.
