What kind of gear do you people use?

Guitars:
- Fender 80's Strat.
- ESP M-50 (killer guitar....full-of-fucking-metal \m/)
- Homemade Telecaster (Malcom Young Fender design)
- Mini Flying V (shitty)
- Classical Guitar (had for years...havent been bothered to find out what it is)

Amps:
-Marshall Mini Stacker (2x 12)
-Peavy 65 wt (excellent distortion)
-RockBug 5wt or less (you clip it on your belt and dance in the streets)

Effects:
- Zoom GFX 707
- ToneWorks something...not bad (my bro's)
 
If you want to play metal, all you need is a Peavey 5150 head and 4x12 cab. You can throw all of your distortion stomp boxes away! This thing oozes metal overdrive! 120Watts of pure death!

i have it and play it for 7 years and i got decent and blasphemical powered distortion with it.
changing the direction of the topic.... i want to ask (for the experts) What kind of amp/distortion/overdrive pedal is needed to reach the tone of the new cd called Nihility from that POLISH BAND CALLED :

It seems that everybodys satisfied with his Pod 2. I was thinking of getting one, but then came out Pod Xt, Pod Pro and also this Amp Modulation program called Amplitube. Anybody knows which got the best balls?
 
Comparing a Metalzone to a tube distortion is stupid in my opinion cuz u pay what? 80/90 bucks for a Metalzone? How much would you have to pay for tube distortion? ( I got my metalzone for 50 bucks used )

No I'm NOT rich. :( I've been spending ALL of my money that isn't needed for bills, on musical equipment for the past 5 years or so...

I even lost a GF I might have married, because I wouldn't buy her a stupid ring and bought music equipment instead...

I suffer from GAS... Gear Aquisition Syndrome, as it's commonly called. :cry:

I agree completely. I just picked one of those bitches up like a month ago, and it kills me. I love it. Anything that Carcass and Opeth use can't be THAT bad...;)
