What language should I study?

Just wondering: why are you so interested in spanish?

Hmm. Maybe it's because of this spanish tv program they showed here like 3-4 years ago. It was a shitty program, I'd say, but I just loved it when they had some issue to discuss and they all just yelled at the same time. The pronunciation of the language made the screaming much more funnier, and I guess it's since then that I've been interested to study the language myself.

BTW, anyone know any good bands that have vocals in spanish?

edit: Oh yeah, forgot to say that the best part was that the program was aired on Saturday mornings, when I usually had a hangover. That program really made the hangover go away.

So spanish sounds funny... Well, so does finnish
Some spanish bands with spanish vocals:
-Tierra Santa, which sounds a lot like Iron Maiden.
-Mägo de Oz. I think it is called 'Folk metal'. Very original.
-Saratoga, whose singer reminds me of Michael Kiske
-Other bands: Avalanch, Ankhara, etc.

Yeah, they were on the "Tribute to the Beast" album. Didn't know that they originally have vocs in spanish.. Gotta check'em out..

Anyway, m vote goes for either finnish, japaneese or spanish. Great languages.

well,yeah they're interesting but its worth learning them if you already speak 1 or 2 other languages...and in high school it's impossible to do it hehe
And they're not very useful,only if you are interested in those contries,I mean if you really can use them....
Btw I'm just thinking about to study finnish but well... I should start to learn german and spanish and refresh my french..first... :Smug: hehe

my preferance is for either Deutsch or arabic, Iron-Flames, i guess you`re american, so you must have never studied or heard any arabic. it`s a Seriously poetic, philosophic, distinguished and polite language, not on the daily speech tho. but is merely impossible for a germanic language speaker i`d say.
