What piece of gear could you not do without (excluding your main instrument)?

Whenever I play anywhere I always bring along with me my Tubescreamer and my DS1. When you use both they can get you through virtually any musical situation. I now class them to be indispensable

What item could you not live without?

I couldnt part with my ESP M-II. Its the same specs as the one Romeo uses in The Guitar Chapter (maple fretboard, EMG 81s) only its grey intead of purple.

I'd have to say either my DiMarzio pickups, or my Line 6 POD for being able to serve up heaping loads of gain.

i have to say my Pod Pro cause I'm so used to the sounds and effects,, I recently had to use a marshal or mesa in a practice studio and it was so bad compared to pod pro.

I love Knopfler... he has some cool licks which migrate perfectly to metal (with a little effort)...

I still think Tunnel of Love is one of the all time great solos..

and he has one of those Pensa Suhr guitars....
