What r u Listening to?

11:00 to 12:00 meeting finished early... :yow:

Phideaux - The Great Leap

:)
Hey Leyth it occurred to me since you've been enjoying Ty Tabor's solo work that you should probably check out the self-titled first album by The Jelly Jam. It's Tabor on guitar/vocals, John Myung (Dream Theater) on bass and Rod Morgenstein (Dixie Dregs) on drums, and since Tabor writes most of the stuff, it's VERY similar to his solo stuff. (They have a second album too, though I like the first one better.) I mention this because Ken's selling the debut at a kickass $5:

Just sharing the wealth :D

DP is right Leyth the Jelly Jam for $5 is a steal...though I'm sure if you have all of the Ty Tabor solo stuff you already have the Jelly Jam...me I like the Jelly Jam 2 a little better...the production is fat and the songs are a little heavier and have a nice groove to them.

Right now a little Heaven & Hell :saint: :Smokedev:

SEVENTH WONDER "Waiting In The Wings" :saint: :kickass:

HELL "Human Remains" ...killer NWOBHM band reserected by Andy Sneep...killer guitar riffs, harmonies and solo's...the production is perfect for this type of shock rock. :kickass: :headbang:

That video takes me back to first discovering King Diamond as a teenager...guess it's come full circle!

Anyway I've spent my morning with that new Flower Kings DVD "Tour Kaputt Live". Good stuff, King Crimson's Pat Mastelotto was a great choice for a drummer, he's the most lively guy on stage!

Friday spins:

America - Greatest Hits
Arabs in Aspic - Strange Frame of Mind
Crowded House - Best of
Dug Dug's - Smog
King Crimson - Power To Believe
Nazareth - Razamanaz
Steve Unruh - The Great Divide

Thanks for the heads up DP. Will pick it up with my next order. :)

Love 'em! Hey Leyth, more Ty Tabor here :D It was The Jelly Jam plus Derek Sherinian on keyboards, they did two albums. The first one 'When Pus Comes to Shove' is more rockin' and upbeat IMO but outta print, not hard to find though. The second, 'Ice Cycles', is on sale here at Casa de Laser's Edge as another $5 marvel:

It's kinda dark and moody, especially lyrically (I think Tabor was going through his divorce at the time) but a very good album.
OK I'm done preaching now :D

Leap Day---Skylge Liar
Mars Hollow---World in front of Me
