What releases are you looking forward to in 2006?

I forgot about the new Adagio disc. Not sure how the new singer will be? Tad Morose should be putting something out next year also I would hope!

Queensryche - Mindcrime II. I'm setting myself up for disappointment here. It better be monumental or I'm going to be pissed off. It doesn't have to be "heavy" and it doesn't have to sound like Mindcrime I. But the songwriting and emotion better be on the same level.

If Mindcrime II tanks then Queensryche needs to pack it in. Maybe release a boxed set and do one more tour just for pride's sake, but they need to pack it in. They can't do a sh7tty Mindcime II and then go back to to releasing albums that try to sound "new." Won't work. They need to swing for the fences with Mindcrime II and hopefully impress their old fans once again.

Symphony X
Vanden Plas
Evergrey
Queensryche

I don't know if "looking forward to" is accurate for the Queensryche. Maybe morbid curiosity.

Queensryche
Tad Morose
Symphony X
Sun Caged
JOP
Metallica (not really interested but curious...)
Maiden (seems the right time to put out a killer record now)
Raven

Testament - I really don't care what line-up, just as long as they put out a worthy follow up to The Gathering.
Paul Stanley solo - Good gut feeling about this one.
Queensryche - With a title like Mindcrime II, it had damn better be good!

Solitude Aeturnus...

That will be awsome they are taking forever for a new album :erk:, also Steel Prophet have something in development.

But basically since 2005 was a great year (43 releases for me) I doubt 2006 will offer much

NP: Warlock - 'Time To Die'

Beyond Fear (debut)
Edguy-Rocket Ride January-2006
Ryche-Mindcrime II
Motorhead-cd *I already have the dvd due 1.25.06(get it!)
Six Feet Under(next studio record)
Arch Enemy-DVD
Megadeth-Arsenal Megadeth DVD
Gigantour DVD
*For those who loved In Flames before the took a "wrong turn, pick up
Come Clarity in Feb. '06 I got an advance and it's a step in the right direction!

Now seriously, I'm waiting for:

Blind Guardian
Blackmore's Night (VILLAGE LANTERN)
Sabaton
Steel Prophet
Angel Dust (if ever recorded)
Exciter
Lacuna Coil (possibly)
Tony MacAlpine
Majesty (HELLFORCES)
Solitude Aeturnus (taking forever)
Memory Garden (these guys are also taking forever)
Pegazus
Power Symphony (they are taking forever and then some)
Riot
Stormhammer
Venom (maybe)

Those I see as sure or viable possibilities for albums in 2006, keep fingers crossed :D

NP: Forsaken - 'Madrigal'

P.S. I also will like another Dream Evil annd Death Angel

Testament, Slayer, HOPEFULLY Anthrax (with Joey), but probably most anticipated is NEW SODOM JANUARY 2006:hotjump: :hotjump: :hotjump:

Maybe January is for the new album and September for the DVD. Or the other way round :)
