What would you do with one billion dollars?

I’d like to share some money to my compulsory educational life as a 3rd class university student in a 4 yeared school
at a cost of 6000$. I will give them some money other than that. That will make my parents shut their mouths up in a way.
Like PoueT I’d like to buy all the CD’s which I couldn’t buy or save up money,wait and buy because of their being in a way expensive in Turkiye. Also I wouldn’t wonder about my telephone bills because of internet and my unnecessary phone calls.
The other thing is that I can support “Rock Station Festival” of my own country Türkiye. (http://rockstation.kayra.net.)Here in my country I am trying to pass over an obstacle called economical crisis for some time. We’re still caring it’s traces on our shoulders with my family. So I and some of my friends neither get enough support for heavy metal music from our families nor government.. We are trying to do our best with our own posibilities. Although the festival I mentioned to support is an international one since at past, we had “Destruction, Tankard...” kind of most liking groups in Turkiye, we are looking forward to see others as well in an easy way, without any hesitation... We don’t want to hesitate having concerts of King Diamond, Malmsteen, Amorphis, Dark Tranquility, Blind Guardian, Catatonia, Megadeth(we catched them before they’ve seperated) and many more again, any more. I wouldn’t think of the ticket costs, the travel costs. I would like to support Mezarkabul in Wacken for instance instead of dreaming to go... So ýf I had that much money, I’d like to spend it on Heavy Metal stuff for my country and for my self. I’d like to construct new places for youth. New festivals one after the other. They will be free entrance... Free beer... Free place...Free condomJ. There will be lots of fun with Heavy Metal Music..!Wauw.. Is that a dream? What if it comes true... What a fun for us..Uggh.

Lessee.... I'd go record in studio Fredman, thenbuy Century Media Records, and Nuclear Blast records, and move them over to a private, large island... and call it "Metal island". Metalheads only.
Oh... and most importantly, after I made this island, I'd totally promote the video music awards for MTV... and after all the people came to see all the pop bullshit, I'd drop a big ass bomb and kill the mainstream. :hotjump:

oh, i am asking for the almighty gods' forgiveness here, but it just came to my mind - possibly propelled by the desire of having a rich breakfast - a variation on the classic "chains and leather" by running wild. imagine if rolf kasparek was going "eggs! and bacon! eggs! and bacon! eggs! and bacon! and coffee!" :lol: :lol: :lol:

with a billion dollars:

- i'd buy a big country house with a wonderful view and a very wide garden. i'd go live there with my dearest one, my cats and dogs and i'd often give parties for my friends :)
- i'd put up some commercial businesses with a couple of friends
- i'd travel a lot, mostly to united states and northern europe
- i'd put the rest of the money in a swiss bank ;)

i wouldn't quit my job, but i'd surely be less stressed than before :)

As for other things I would do.

1. I would open my own Herpitology school and museum.
2. I would buy a very large house right next to the lake in Door County Wisconsin.
3. Buy a very large house on the Northside of Chicago
4. Open afew restaraunts (shut up Thanatos)
5. Invest, invest, invest!!!
6. Never have to worry about money ever again.

I would buy/build a house in northeast Canada or maybe northern Europe....at least some place where there aren't too many people and not too many idiots. Then I'd buy myself a personal babysitter who looks after me all day & night.

With that kind of money, the first thing I would do is buy a nice big condo or house in Toronto. Then after I settle in I would throw a HUGE party at a relatively large venue in Toronto and I would fly Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Children Of Bodom, and At The Gates (Haha, I wish) over here and have them all play 1+hour sets (However, Dark Tranquillty gets 2 hours :D ) This party(or 'best concert EVER') would be completely free entry for all those who wish to attend (but bring lots of beer $$$ :p ). Actually, hell why not, OPEN BAR!! :lol:

After that.... :confused: I guess I would buy a niteclub in either Toronto or Montreal and dedicate it to metal \m/ Yes, a bar with no dance or rave!!!!!! :lol:

Also I would travel a WHOLE FUCKING BUNCH, there are so many places I would love to go to ( Germany, Holland, Sweden, Japan, Italy, Egypt, the list goes on)


In other words: I would have a LOT of fun!:cool:

it seems if one of us is ever blessed with one billion dollars, the whole metal scene would feel quite happy about it... :)

With so much money I would buy a house with a big pool - so my beloved fish could do some more swimming.He's keen on speeding and jumping - maybe he should have become a rabbit or something like that ;)
Or I would buy Isla Nublar from Jurassic Park (if it's available at the moment) - there would be much more space for him and I could do my studies there,living in the free wide open ...
