What's a big Haul to you?

3 CDs or more. most i've ever purchased at once was like maybe 10.

i truly think a lot of you are clinically insane to buy so much music at the same time.

I bought 9 CDs from The End one time. That was very very stressful because there was so much to listen to, but that was my first real metal haul- so it was also exciting and awesome. First fucking time I heard Skydancer. Anyway, I usually like to buy three at a time. My largest haul was 12, so I'd consider upwards of 5 or 6 a "large" one for me.

On a somewhat OT note. I just purchased 18 cd's from THE END, half of which came in broken cases. (Cracked, Digiteeth crumbling, hard time closing properly) :eerk:

fucking exactly. the last two purchases from the end (Gathering, Jesu) came with breaks. The Jesu one was easily fixed with a replacement insert, but the Gathering one is a break on the 2 CD door hinge and that sucks. I think they need to stop using those cardboard boxes and going to a puffy mailer that can take some pressure.

9 was the biggest haul for me. 25 cds + is just crasy.

With all due respect, there are about 14 other distros I go to before The End now. Cheaper, come packaged better, just as fast.

Yeah, I mostly bought stuff I hadn't heard that sounded good from the descriptions. I can't remember all the details, but I remember thinking about 5 were great, another 10 or so were good, and the rest were meh. Favorite out of the haul had to be The Quiet Room "Reconceive".
