What's your favourite video games?

Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines and Beyond the Call of Duty and Commandos 2... never before have a series of games kept me locked away from society. Which reminds me, I've gotta get number 3 sometime soon!

The Journeyman Trilogy... although the 3rd game was a bit of a letdown because they focused too much on graphics and not on the puzzles. Number 2 was one of the best games I'd ever played!

Oh and I'm currently playing a puzzle/cluedo style game called Inspector Parker.... hard as all fuck but it's bloody addictive! Yes, I have a habit of playing puzzle based games.... can't play FPS cause I have vertigo and racing style games bore me

Grand Theft Auto 3 is the best game I've played. I haven't played Vice City yet but I'm guessing its the same but even cooler coz of the '80s theme!

I also love Shane Warne Cricket '99 and the NBA Live games, they're always fun. And Driver was pretty good. I don't really play video games much though so I haven't played that many different ones. Mafia sounds awesome I'd love to play that.

I am currently playing 'Skies Of Arcadia: Legends' on the GameCube (its a Dreamcast port). Great game, pretty much a Sega version of Final Fantasy.
I hate to be a gloater, but....I told you ! Would I ever steer you wrong?:)

anyhoo...

my top 10:

Super Mario Bros. 3
Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past
Final Fantasy VII
Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night
Viewtiful Joe
Star Ocean:The Second Story
Skies Of Arcadia
Final Fantasy IV/ Final Fantasy Tactics(tie)
Megaman X
Mr. Driller

Zelda on my Nintendo 64.

They are great games.

(And I'll never. ever, buy Nintendo again, as they aren't reverse compatible, and therefore stop making games the day after they think of making a new box)

Shannow: Nintendo systems will be backwards compatible from now on, and you can get the N64 Zelda games on the Cube. :headbang:

As far as I know the next XBOX won't be backwards compatible, which is interesting. It is shaping up to be a real shit heap IMO. I can't believe they are taking the hard drive out, talk about taking a step back.

Wicked Child: you sure did dude! SOA just keeps getting better! A few others in your top ten that would probably make up my top ten to fifteen as well (Super Mario Bros. 3, Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night, Viewtiful Joe and Megaman X).

Another of my favourites that just misses out on the top 5 is Bubble Bobble. Best arcade game ever.

I loved my Amiga !
for there day they were wicked, the first computer with sterio sound
the first with decent resoution and 1024 colours :headbang:

Amigas are pretty cool (I've got the old Amiga awaiting being fired up again).

I personally LOVED "Barbarian"

"Prepare to Die"

As I lopped my Brother's head off, and that little troll dude kicked it into outfield.

Blitzy, they wont take the hard drive out of the next XBOX, trust me, and if the architecture is in anyway similair (i.e. A pc in a box) everything will be backwards compatible...

Amigas rocked, I remember longing for one but never owned one

They have already come out and said that it most likely won't be backwards compatible, and the only way they will put a hard drive in is if Sony put one in the PS3, otherwise they would like to use flash memory similar to that of the PS2. Also, they have said they haven't decided on what size processor to use, and it will depend on what is used in the PS3.

Basically, M$ don't give a shit about games and just want to take over the market, and are worrying more about their competitors and matching their specs than making games. It happened with the XBOX, all specs and no games, and it will happen again next time around.

They wont take the hard drive out, trust me. The only reason they would do that is if they found another way of storing info, XBOX is online and you are pretty much screwed if you want to play any form of decent online gaming without a hard drive.

Theres plenty of good games on the XBOX, 90 percent get released on both platforms these days. Considering this is Microsofts first console they kicked ass sales wise, the only people to have done it better with their first one is Sony.

Koichi, who do you rent the other 65 rooms out to?

It's actually a pretty good place to live, considering most x box games consist of pushing 1 button, i just avoid that room when the Giant the controller is designed for plays it.
