Usually the touring to the US for small European bands is a money problem. It helps if they sell a decent amount of records, so that the agency see there would be some demand. It can also help bothering the booking contacts, and make all other fans in the US do the same

I saw Johnny Cash in concert(my first concert ever) when I was a child.
Totally blew my frikn' mind, I've been to probably at least a 1000 concerts and have seen some weird shit but nothing and I mean nothing compares to the mayhem I remember from that night. It was total chaos and the fans went absolutely berserk.
It was a beautiful thing -

Ihsahn - The Adversary, though I've constantly been listening to it for close to a month now. Maybe I'll overplay it and grow tired of it too soon, but one can't not listen to an album this good. Album of the year so far.

Got Opeth - Blackwater Park 2CD and Nasum - Grind Finale too, but haven't listened to those much yet. Though I of course know that Blackwater Park is great, while still being the album that started Opeth's downfall (into only really good from totally awesome).
